Washington, DC — House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Ranking Member Jim Himes (CT-04) released the following statement regarding the passage of the Reforming Intelligence and Securing America Act (H.R. 7888).

“Today, the House took a major step forward for our country. The FISA reauthorization passed today is a strong, bipartisan bill to reform and reauthorize our most important foreign intelligence collection tool. I hope the Senate will move quickly to ensure we have no lapse in this critical authority.”
