HPSCI Chairman Mike Rogers and Ranking Member C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger will hold an open hearing on NSA programs on Tuesday, October 29, 2013. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss in an open forum, potential changes to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) to increase transparency and rebuild Americans’ confidence in the programs.

Media Set-Up
Press set up will be from 10:30pm – 12:30pm.
All media equipment must be in position in the hearing room before the security sweep begins at 12:30pm.
No media equipment will be allowed in the room after the security sweep. The room will reopen after the security sweep for the public and the media to take their seats.
Only Congressionally credentialed members of the media will be allowed access to the press viewing area in the committee hearing room.
