Ranking Member Ruppersberger Statement on Situation in Ukraine

Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD), Ranking Member on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, released the following statement regarding the situation in Ukraine. “The crisis in Ukraine continues to grow worse by the day. Russia has chosen to exploit Ukraine as it endures a leadership change. Thousands of Russian troops have occupied the southern Ukrainian region of Crimea, taking over airports and government buildings. Russia is violating Ukraine’s sovereignty.
